Auli
Auli is one of the less explore hill stations in India. Auli, located in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh, is a new contestant in the tourist map of India. Located in the cradle of snow-capped mountains, Auli is one of the very few places in India where skiing is a major pastime. Gradually Auli is growing like other hill stations in India. The bitter cold winds, the vast snow-covered landscape, the sylvan mountains, all add up to make Auli a skier's paradise. Representing man's constant endeavor to triumph over nature, Auli proves to be an ideal locale for the daring.
The area offers fine trekking routes to exploit lovers. A ropeway from Joshimath to Auli is one of the longest in India, extending to 4.15 kilometers. Auli is also the venue for the National Winter games in the months of February and March. Among the other interesting aspects of Auli is the grazing land stretch over 6 kilomteres, known as Byugal in the local language. A large number of colorful flowers blossom during the monsoon.

The population of Auli in Uttarakhand is composed of Tibetans belonging to the Bhotiya ethnic group. Hinduism is the chief religion practiced here. There are many picturesque and interesting spots around Auli. Joshimath, also called Jyotirmath is the site of one of the four religious centers established by the Hindu religious saint Adi Shankara. Badrinath, and Hemkunda sahib are among the famous religious centers located close to Auli. The valley of flowers is known for the colorful flowers that blossom there.

History
In the 8th century AD, the great Guru Adi Shankaracharya is said to have tread on these fields. The temple built by him at Joshimath still exists. For hundreds of years, the colorful semi-nomadic tribes of the Bhotiyas, of the Mongolian stock, traversed the trails at Auli, locally called Thatauli. Before Auli was developed as a ski resort, its slopes were the training ground for men of valor and courage-the ski-equipped men of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force. Among the awesome, legendary peaks ranged round Auli, the 23,490-feet-high Trishul (literal meaning, the strident of Lord Shiva) was the scene of a unique expedition in 1958. The mountaineers took four days to climb the peak and only 90 minutes to ski down to the base camp.

How to get adsense approval
Many publishers have a hard time getting approved into the Google AdSense program. In fact, Google recently posted a blog entry named before you apply to Ad Sense. In that blog post, Google explains the ways to apply and some of the criteria that must be met to get approval into the program. If that blog post doesn't help you get into the Google AdSense program then maybe a DigitalPoint Forums thread would. In that thread, one member claimed that if you register at HubPages and then click on "account settings" and then "affiliates." You can sign up for Google AdSense within HubPages. HubPages says:When you create a user account with HubPages, we’ll automatically create the Google Adsense program for you. Just answer a few simple questions and you’ll be ready to go.This implies that creating a HubPage account will guarantee acceptance into Google AdSense. Some of the forums members are giving this theory a try. It would make sense that the same applies to Google's Blogger accounts or Google Pages.

How to Improve Page Rank for a Blog

You have tons of information or opinions to share, so you set up a blog on your website. But what assurance do you have anyone’s going to see it? Improving your page rank is a good way to boost your rating for search engines and to magnetize visitors to your website.

1. Create link clusters within your blog

A link cluster is a group of links that you can point at a post or page to develop its search engine ranking. Let’s say you have a post that’s ranked for’ Jobs, Edit 10 of your other posts to create links to the ’jobs’ post and you will surely move up in Google for that keyword. This process can be implemented in about 10 minutes and can be used for any keyword your site ranks for or is trying to rank for.

2. Rework HTML title tags

By watching your status, you can frequently identify posts that get search traffic from a keyword, even though the keyword isn’t listed in the HTML title of the post. By editing your posts’ HTML titles to add the keywords they cover, you can strengthen the rankings and therefore the traffic that the post generates.

3. Tempt your readers to join with you

You can never ever have too many friends on SU and Facebook. Inviting existing readers to find you on these services with a post should take less than 20 minutes.

4. Save your finest posts for the best times of the week

Writing a home-run post on a Saturday afternoon will probably happen from time to time. However, does your blog have good traffic on Saturdays? Analyzing your blog’s stats to determine when it naturally has the most traffic can get more eyes on a great post, which will translate to more social votes and more links. If you have created the post of your life, wait for a good day to publish - it will cost you about 1 minute on a later date to put it up.

5. Revise your post one more time

How can you improve your title? How can you improve your first paragraph? Small details in your post, particularly in the starting of your post, can make a massive difference in its ability to draw communal traffic and links. You can positively improve your title, first paragraph, formatting, and grammar within 30 minutes.

6. Stop writing about yourself.

Surfers become readers when a blog gives something that is required. A casual visitor may read your blog because they find training, answers to problems, entertainment, or something else they want. This more than likely will mean that they won’t want to read about you, your girlfriend, your cats, your kids, or your catastrophes (unless you have a personal blog that your friends read). Discontinuing the off-topic posts will help you to develop more repeat traffic and takes exactly 0 minutes to implement.

7. Subscribe to the feeds of your industry’s major players

That way, you won’t miss important news releases. When news breaks in your industry, there will be a lot of extra traffic searching for information on the event. Adding your thoughts will almost always generate extra traffic. Subscribing to the feeds of your industry’s top sites should take no more than 15 minutes.

8. Give a great post to a famous blog

Let’s say that you took the time to write something great. Donating your post to a great blogger can help you to create a win-win. The great blogger gets a great piece of substance that will bring him social traffic and links and you can create contact for your name and brand. Emailing your post to a great blogger or blog takes less than 10 minutes.

9. Go to the store

Look at magazines. Pay special attention to the types of titles that are used on the covers. Write down the most interesting titles and think about what makes them interesting. In order to generate buzz around a post, a great title is an absolute necessity. More on this topic here: The Cosmo Headline Technique for Blogging Inspiration. You should be able to find some good title ideas in about 30 minutes.
